I have this strange problem that has me stumped.

Let's say we have 3 user groups, A, B and C

We also have a private forum called PV

People in group A CAN see PV

People in B and C can NOT see PV

So far so good.

If I give people in group B the secondary group of A they can now see PV. This is good.

If I give people in group C the secondary group A they still can NOT see PV. Why?

Obviously I'm missing something somewhere but I'm damned if I can see what. I've looked at permissions and configurations and so on and I can't see why C and D are different such if you give one a secondary of A it works but the other doesn't.

Can anyone tell me where to look or suggest anything I might of missed or something.

Thanks.

Check Usergroup C and make sure they have Allow Users to have Member Groups set to Yes.

YES, that was it. I just KNEW it was staring me in the face, just couldn't see it. Thanks.
