SMS System?

hey.
does this thing exscist? i can't do a search since sms is only 3 letters...
if it doesn't excist, is it possible to make?

What i mean, when you register or when you edit your profile, the user can enter his cell phone number, which can not be viewed by ordinary users, only admins. But now there woud be a option under this users posts (where the pm, icq, e-mail, profile etc. options are) to send sms message to the user... i think this would really be a cool hack!

can anyone help?

yes, you could do it... but it would cost the site owner money each time an SMS message was sent.

it might be possible to use the ICQ sms system. Not sure if it is a) possible or b) how impressed they would be if you did.

I'm pretty sure it's against their terms and conditions... plus, their coverage isn't that great (most notably, you can't send to Vodofone in the UK).
