The Prosperent Suite contains the Product Search, Performance Ads, Auto-Linker and Auto-Comparer.
This add-on is a composition of the major Prosperent tools, redone, optimized and working together with a touch of something new.
If you or any of your users have issues with some links on the page, clear cookies and it will work.
Prosperent Product Search
This plugin will add a product search box to your vbulletin forum, which viewers can use to search for products. When they click a product through your site they will be redirected to the merchant's site. If they make a purchase you will earn a commission from the sale.
Prosperent Product Search uses Prosperent's API, which is a very advanced API that offers you access to 3000 merchants and 50 million products from all of the top online retailers. Stores like Zappos, 6pm, Best Buy, Overstock, REI, Advance Auto Parts, Kohl's, Gap, Banana Republic, Cabelas, and thousands more. If it is sold online, we probably have it in our system.
Prosperent Auto-Linker
This tool will enable you to designate words that will be linked to the Product Search. You can also use a different query.
For example,
red shoes => red Nike shoes
shoes
If you put the above inside the text area then any time red shoes or just shoes is in a post it will be linked to the Product Search.
As with this example, put the more specific text first. That way red shoes will be matched before shoes. Else red shoes won't be found.
There is also now an editor button included for the auto-linker. Set the setting for user groups that you'd like to be able to use it. Then simply highlight text inside a post, and press the auto-linker button. A dialog box will open up, enter the query (it can be the same or different from the original text that you highlighted), enter a brand and merchant if you want to filter it, and then if you check the Go Directly to Merchant the link will skip the products page setup by the Product Search and go straight to the merchant through an affiliate link.
Prosperent Performance Ads
Adds Performance Ads under the first post in a vbulletin forum thread. Since our ads automatically scale in size, these will look great on fluid width designs as well as fixed width.
Prosperent Performance ads has a content analyzer that will produce an ad based on content in each thread. This will give you targeted ads, which in turn will lead to more clicks and conversions.
If Performance Ads doesn't find results based on the content, it will use the fallback, either the fallback that you set inside the AdminCP, or trends (top selling products).
Prosperent Auto-Comparer
This feature is very unique. It adds an Auto-Comparer button to the editors in vBulletin. This tool will place products or coupons inside a post wherever you or a user designates. Simply put the cursor where you'd like to have the product/coupon block display and click the Auto-Comparer button
You have control over the amount of products/coupons or comparison products that will be displayed, as well as which user groups have access to the editor button.
Example of Auto-Comparer:
[compare="q=puma shoes;m=Holabird Sports"]
Some queries will result in displaying a comparison between products if there are similar products in the catalog, if not if will display a product or products based on the limit you set in the AdminCP.
If you select the option to use coupons, the Auto-Comparer will display coupon(s) based off the query and merchant filter.
Inside the Auto-Linker dialog your users will see options as follows:
Query - the query to be used for the product or coupon
Brand - filters by brand
Merchant - filters by merchant
Use Coupons - use coupons instead of products
If no matches are found and there are filters used, this tool will try again without the filters, and lastly in the rare case that there are no results it will not display a product.
We have an ever growing community, which is always willing to answer questions and lend a helping hand, and our team here at Prosperent is also available on the forum.
Installation
First thing, head over to Prosperent (http://prosperent.com) and click Join, its Free to do so. Create your account and once you are signed in, click the API tab up top. This page will give you the information you need to know about the API. But all you need to do here at the moment is click API Keys on the submenu and click Add New API Key. This will get you the API key you'll need so commissions can be tracked back to you. Name it whatever you'd like and you'll see that its created a key for you.
Save that key somewhere as you'll be needing it later. Also your User Id is in the upper right hand corner in the parathesis after your User Name.
Now, download the .zip file and unzip it. First import the plugin file in the AdminCP. Open the 'Upload' folder and copy the contents into your main or root vbulletin directory.
With that done. Go into your AdminCP and click Settings -> Options -> Prosperent Suite Settings and go through the options there. The API Key and User ID must be set for this addon to function.
The new search box is now in a forum block. But you can use the template one if you'd like, which is discussed later.
You may have to enable sidebars for your forum if they currently are not active, to do this go to admincp -> options -> Forum Sidebar and Block Options and enable the Forum Sidebar option.
After that is finished, go to Forums & Moderators then go to Forum Blocks Manager. Once there click Add Block.
Block Type: Custom HTML/PHP. Click Continue. You'll be doing this for the two (2) sidebars. Now for the information to enter into each, look at the two images attached. Create a sidebar for Top Products.
If you can't view the images for any reason, for the forum block...
