Spam mails being sent using forums

I've been facing a strange issue lately. I ignored it for once. But, now it seems that people in my forums are using forums for sending mass spam emails.
I have disabled email to friend etc. capabilities in my forums but still spam mails are being sent.

How can I stop this?
