What is it? Had it once the last 2 days, at "about" the same time...

Database error in vBulletin :

mysql_connect() [<a href='function.mysql-connect'>function.mysql-connect</a>]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)

Are those blank fields actually blank or did you blank them yourself?

the username or password or both are wrong in your config.php file

its a direct copy and paste

As for the username or password wrong, impossible as the site is working. however when I look into it, it is all correct anyway :)

Bizarre isnt it.

Its only happened since I moved to a new server a couple of days ago

also, the 2 different errors, the IP addresses are different....

this Tabs System by vbSoporte - vBulletin en Español is not needed in 4.2.0 it will cause you problems

It's a hosting issue. Ask your host to check the mysql socket when this happens

this Tabs System by vbSoporte - vBulletin en Espa?ol is not needed in 4.2.0 it will cause you problems

Ill check it out. I know its not needed though. Havent bothered to play around with it to get it converted to VB. Thanks though, ill try this.
