Hello, dudes.

I've been trying to figure out how to replace the standard forum icons:

But whatever I'm doing isn't working.

I thought just replacing the images under the same URL in FileZilla would do the trick, but I have FAILED!

Can anyone help me out? I'm sorry, I know I'm Lord of the Noob, but that's just the way it is.

Did you make sure you replaced the images your custom style uses, and not the ones in the default style /images/ folder? Replacing them is all you have to do, but custom styles use separate folders.

What I did was go in to status icon and replace the old with the new. I haven't customised my site in any way outside of the style manager.

My brain hurts.

One of the things I forgot about vB4 is that there are a LOT of images to replace, unlike vB3. I looked at your forum, and at least one is showing up different. http://obglobal.net/images/statusicon/thread_hot-16.png

Yeah, I saw that. Thanks for checking it, by the way. But, for some reason, it's had no effect. alongside the threads it all has remained unchanged. Random.

Also make sure you either clear your browsers cache and or force a re-fresh ;)

It's also possible if you have any optimizations that do image chaching, it might take a while to show up. I just opened one of your images, held down F5 (refresh) and it finally changed on me.
