...and I can't figure out why.
http://www.enworld.org/
I've checked the navbar template and it's identical to the default style one, and identical to the template in another messageboard I run. Yet the icon and link are both displaced by a row in the above site.
Any ideas?

It looks fine in IE and inSafari on my iDevices, too.
Firefox, not so much.

It looks fine in both Chrome and firefox to me. Perhaps you can post an image of what you are seeing that is wrong?

Sure.
Image attached (man, do I prefer that old 3.x attachment manager!) - as you can see the icon is dropped a row, and the "Advanced Search" link is also. You can't actually see it because it's white-on-white (it's supposed to be white, but on the darker background above it).

This is the old 3.x attachments manager since we are running on 3.6.12...
I am not seeing something like that image at all. What browser/OS are you using?

Yup. That's why I called it the 3.x attachment manager! :)
I am not seeing something like that image at all.
So I gathered!
What browser/OS are you using?
Firefox 17.01 on Windows 8. Fairly common setup, I imagine.

I thought you meant you preferred the 3.x attachment manager to what we had which is why I replied that it *is* the 3.x attachment manager.
(You realize you can turn off the enhanced editor in vB4 and go back to the 3.x editor by setting Enhanced Attachment Uploading to off in your user settings, right?)

It's cool that the attachment manager can be changed, but we're kinda getting off topic here!

Looks fine for me as well. Obvious question, but have you tried clearing your browser cache?

When one sets the zoom factor to 90% (ctrl + mouse wheel) one sees the effect. At 100% it does not happen.
I see the same effect on the vbulletin.com forum pages.
Aha - that was it! Good catch!
So, yeah, the default style breaks at non-standard zoom levels. :)

So what are the standard zoom levels ?
"100%".

I've got the same problem with the Breeze style, and I 'm using Firefox as well.
I thought it might be the CSS that's causing it, but I can't find the style sheet for that button
