How are these ads done

Check out this thread, see how the images are appearing in the thread with 720 wide adverts in them. How can I do this?

They appear to just be using the default ad templates.

EDIT: Oh you mean, the image overlays. I don't think it's a modification, per se. Probably just tweaked the templates to whatever is resizing their images.

I think they've done it within the img bbcode

It's a service that places ads inside your images. I believe one company is called gumgum.com. You'd have to sign up with them.
