Confused with the VB RSS Feed settings

Hi all, sorry to be a pain. I see lots of RSS topic but none for my issue so hope you can help.

I am using VB 4.2.0 and I am wanting to use the RSS feed for a Wordpress Plugin. i.e show the Latest Forum Posts / Threads on my Wordpress page. That seemed to be working ok.

But now I am only seeing 2 posts yet I have many more. I can not find anywhere what all the available options are for the output of these feeds.

All I have been told is:

for Latest Articles from CMS it is: external.php?do=rss&type=newcontent&sectionid=1&days=120&count=5

For Blog Posts it is: blog_external.php?type=RSS2

And for Forum it is: external.php?type=RSS2

I thought the forum one above should give me everything. But when I go to my forum and press the "View this forum's RSS feed" for my main forum, even that only shows the 2 latest posts.

Is there a document anywhere which talks about all the variables available?

I am not a technical person, programmer or geek :eek: but hope someone can help,

Look in the admincp under "External Data Provider". If you're looking to get forum posts that are older, you may need to adjust the "Thread Cutoff" value.

Done that already. The default should have returned more than 2 posts but didn't.

The RSS feed does NOT show latest posts - it shows the first post (or part of it) of the latest THREAD.
