How to add Custom BBCODE button in Quick Reply?

I have created a custom bbcode but I would like for the button to also show when viewing the quick reply box. Right now, it's only visible in the advanced quick reply page.

How can I add this to my quick reply box in the post.

Did you try a search? I believe there is an article on how to do this.

Yes I did do a search but the only ones I could find were for vb4 or much earlier vb3 versions.

It may be originally written for an earlier vb3 version. I know it exists because I used it to lead me to do it on my own site. If I recall, I did have to make some small change - perhaps because of the version it was written for. It is not a modification - you will need to edit a template.
