I would like a photo album where users can add photos and when they add pics they will show up in "new posts" and lets other users comment and like them.

I've only got albums in the users profiles and when you add photos no one can comment on it and it doesn't show up that you have added something new. No one knows new pics have been added unless you post about it and tell people to go and check your profile photos.

There's a few options here, if you use the right search terms and filters to pull up the vB3 modifications. I've used a combination of different ones to achieve similar, though not exact effects. I've also been away for a about a year, so I'm not sure which mods are still active, but these are the one's I've been using in concert.

Photoplog Lite as an art gallery.
All Albums, which is just a simple script that puts everyon's albums on one page.
Assorted Albums/Gallery in Forumhome modifications. (There's several, and they all work differently or depend on other scripts being installed. But you should be able to find one to suit your needs.)
Photo Popup so that my users can quickly add images from Albums or a number of gallery scripts right from their post editor.
And if I'm not mistaken, there is a script that starts a new thread when an Album picture is posted.

There's really more options than that, but like I said, I've been away a bit. And I'm not sure which one's are still active or around. But those search terms should help to get you started.

I recall seeing something like this years ago for vB3, but like I said, I've been away, and it's possible it's just not around anymore. Or I imagined it.
