Could you add something like the widget on this page http://www.newmediacampaigns.com/blog/a-beautiful-jquery-github-widget as a bbcode avaliable to add to mods, styles and threads in the development sections (eg hatchery, dev questions, dev discussion)?
I think it would greatly benefit the community as a whole to start using some proper industry tools for mod development, adding a github bbcode would be a kick in the right direction.
