When PM inbox is full - how to alert members

Is there anyway of warning members by email when their inbox is full or nearly full. I've set it up so that a notification appears when they log, but I would really prefer the board to send out an email instead.

If that's not possible then how about having it so that older messages automatically get deleted to make way for the new ones? There's a setting for exactly that on phpbb. I really miss it on vBulletin!

This is a default feature.

It will send an e-mail when a user's inbox is 90% full. It will send another one when someone tries to PM them, but can't because they reached their quota.
