How to upload new vbulletin skin?

So I have recently bought my new vbulletin software. I have the skin downloaded as a .rar file. Do I need to extract it first? And if so to where? Could someone kindly take me through step by step on how to upload/install it onto the forum please.

Hi,

Yes, you will have to unzip it first. Then upload the images folder of the style into /images/styles/ directory in your server space and then import the style xml file from Acp -> Styles & Templates -> Download/Upload Styles -> Import Style XML File. This is pretty much it.

May I ask where the server space is on the admin control panel. I am very new to all this so everything is taking me hours and hours....

The server space is the area where your forum files are uploaded at. You can upload the images either with a ftp program or through the File Manager section in your Acp, provided your host has one.
