Hello all, I am looking for a mod (I couldn't find one) that would allow me to specifically reply to registrations, explaining why the registration was denied, thru a preset form.
Instead of using a general negative reply, I would like to have a preset form of different replies to choose from or a blank field to type in, when moderating registration using the "delete" field. Something like:

Reply with form 0
Sorry registration has been denied because registrations are allowed only on weekdays
Reply with form1
Sorry registration has been denied because your nickname is not allowed
Reply with form2
Sorry registration has been denied because a proxy has been detected
Reply with form 3
Sorry registration has been denied because of temporary email used
Reply with form 4
Sorry registration has been denied because your ip is registered already with nick name xxxx
Reply with form 5
Sorry registration has been denied because we do not accept private email domains

and so on. I know there are different mods that might help to prevent some of the above actions, but that is not what I am looking for. This would really help users to understand and take corrective actions, in case the registration is denied.

A week ago I got thinking about this and thought I could throw something together pretty quick, then the "feature creep" set in and I spent way more time on it then I meant to. Anyway, I came up with this in case you want to try it: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=292965

Might also be educating spammers on how to defeat your anti-spam methods?

Maybe, and I can't speak for the OP, but my response would be that I don't really expect that many spammers would be reading the denial emails. Also, I'm guessing a lot of forum admins would rather help a legit user get the registration right than to turn them away on the chance that they might be a spammer.

Carry on.

Even so, it's a fair point, I mean it's something to consider.
