Is there a way to remove someone from a usergroup after a specific amount of time?

For example they join a group, then are kicked out of it after exactly 30 days?

Only with the help of a cronjob. Currently I don't remember if the system keeps the date of joining a usergroup. If yes, it's easy. Otherwise is a bit more complicated.

Damn, any idea where I can find this information?

Ok I've looked within the active users of a usergroup and it seems the join date into the usergroup is there.

So it can be done?

Give me sometime to prepare a file for you.

Is the usegroup an additional usergroup or you're changing (upgrading) the primary usergroup?

Its a primary group, once the month is up I need the users to revert back to their previous group - or move back to registered users.

The paid subs work like this, set it to public joinable, 31 days and it will kick them out

Im confused...

If I set up a paid group they have to pay to join it. I don't want them to pay, I just need a group that will allow them to join and be removed in 31 days.

I tried this with a test account. I set it to 1 day instead of 31 as a trial and it didn't remove the user from the group...

Any ideas how to do this?
