Does it mean they quit the forum or does it actually mean they died?!
I ask because I'm thinking of installing the KeyCAPTHCA mod here (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=254671) but if the author https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/member.php?u=9948 is not around for whatever reason, then the lack of support would be a deciding factor.
It would be helpful if there was a user note we could read to explain the user title.

RIP means the user has passed away. :(

However, Boofo was not the coder of the KeyCaptcha mod.

There is no title for people who quit the forum. On most user's profiles you can see the date of their last visit, otherwise check the date of their last post and draw your own conclusions.

Oh dear.
Sympathies to his family and friends.
We have wondered how to deal with members who pass away which is respectful.
Thanks for the info.

The Rip was made because we love(d) them, always a sad thing to see but like Boofo's name above - he was just awesome, nuff' said :D.

When you have a big community - particularly one which appeals to older folk - then you are bound to have members pass away.
All the more reason to have a note on their profile page of some kind.

Guys, I got a reply notification email which told me about a very spammy reply to this thread which you guys have obviously deleted.
May I recommend that you implement KeyCAPTCHA and subscribe to Stopforumspam?

We are aware of the spam issues and we are taking multiple steps to prevent it which are not being publicized. Thank you.
