This has been posted here before. Just not exactly sure where it is right now. I know the searching part is in the hacking forum and the template has been released in the templates forum (they are not completely intertwined though).

Go to my forums in my signature and look in one of the threads there. Go into the nascar forum and open a thread with alot of replies and do search there. Think this might be what you are looking for.

<a href="http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=27967&highlight=sitepoint" target="_blank">http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...ight=sitepoint</a>

ok I found this at the thread above

how do I make this show the correct alt tag like sitepoint has. The alt tag lists the forum name "New Post In (forum name)

<a href="newthread.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&action=newthread&forumid=$forum[forumid]"><img src="{imagesfolder}/newthread.gif" border="0"></a>

And does anyone have a clue abotu the table I insert into forum home to encase these?
Thanks

Sarge did you look at mind, the only difference is a few added columns for views, reply counts and such, the reason it does show the forum name is because you should already know that, because this is a search for the specific thread you are already in, I didn't want to be a thread and do a search and pull up other threads from other forums, you already can do that with the orginial search on vb. This is a thread search for on thread only that is why I made it for,
Why add something to a thread that you already have on board anyway.
