Hi, which framework does Vbulletin 5.x uses?

These are the Minimum System Requirements. vBulletin 5 Connect will not run or install if these conditions are not met.

PHP 5.3.0
MySQL 5.1.5
mod_rewrite, URL Rewrite or equivalent.
You must upload the included .htaccess or web.config files.
GD or ImageMagick need to be installed and functional within PHP
cURL or OpenSSL must be installed.

Recommended System Requirements
These are the Recommended System Requirements.

PHP 5.4+
MySQL 5.5+

No, I mean Framework like Zend, Codeigniter, Yii etc. Xenforo uses Zend (http://www.zend.com/en/) Framework, which framework does VB5 uses?

Pretty sure it uses some MVC.

Well, the vbulletin staff/devs can't work on vbulletin as a stand alone script if it does not use a particular framework or use a system the developers are familiar with. They all wouldn't be able to collaborate together on the same software without the use of a specific framework. Though i am not sure which framework they use, I'd like to know which framework vb 5 uses.

I am surprised no vbulletin staff has answered such a simple question

vBulletin 5 uses a custom in-house framework that the developers have built themselves. It does not use any existing framework such as Zend or Kohana.

This is vBulletin.org- a site for modification of the default product. VB5 isn't even out of Beta. Questions about the official product are better asked on vbulletin.com.
