commonly used vbulletin mods 4.2 version

i am new to Vb , i am unable to find mods which are common to use like ad management , thank you mod etc in vbulletin.

Can any one of 4.2 vb users plz post the mods you use in your forum

like spam o matic etc

not the mods available place..

I use MGC Chat, Spam-O-Matic, IBPro Arcade, Tapatalk, Radio/TV, Pinterest Share and more sharing options...I also have some template Mods like a marquee and a clock with the date...

If you go to the Mods forum (the one for your version), you may click to sort by the number of installs or by rating.

I will give a piece of advice which I think many forum owners will agree with, don't install mods just to install mods. Install mods because your site NEEDS that particular mod.

I went sick and found LOTS of cool mods that make my site awesome then I buy vB Facebook and Mobile mods and I'm told turn off all your mods if you want it to work...I don't think we are in Kansas anymore...

I just don't get it, seems self defeating...but onwards every upwards developing the best little vB 4.x.xplxxx et al Publishing Suite I can...its our 2nd birthday today

Personally, if mod builders can't spec their mods to work on the mobile and Facebook apps I will not be using them or encouraging and paying to make it work.

vB.com won't support any mods that don't come from vB.com, but they direct you vB.org for fixes...call me an Aussie...but it confuses me...I just want to build a grouse site with a lot of this grouse stuff (mods)

I learn't the hard way Lynne, but still a learner I try to enhance facets of my site with what I think are exquisite mods, like ProvB, MGC, Dragonbyte, Lancerforhire, Borbole, vB Foster, many others...valters Stuff, the VSa stuff is so cool, vBTube, the TV and Radio mod ....and I haven't really started, ways to split your subforums into readable lists, ways of putting the Attachments manager we scroll down to beside the WYSIWYG, favicon replacement mods etc etc...developers like

Where does one stop when it appears the best way to go if you are NOT a coder?

I have trust and believe we are getting there, I just hope they do not leave the Publishing Suite for as an old school publisher I think it is just a small bit of what it could be...

Its our 2nd birthday today and tomorrow I'm having a party, by tomorrow night the site will look different again

Plea to mod builders, make them work with all vB stuff eh, I'll contribute as I always do...costly learning curve this I'll tell you...
