Product issue

I downloaded a product from the site and activated it, like an idiot. I did not read the whole post because I seem to have missed the step where I was supposed to add in a line of code. Now my site is all screwy.

temporarily disable the plugin system, edit includes/config.php and add this line right under <?php

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);
