For some reason, I am not able to upload attachments to forums now. Noted that the HTML has been disabled.

Where do I reset this to enable HTML for administrators, and hopefully, for all forums.

Uploading attachments has nothing to do with html being enabled for forums.

If your referring to using a html link to display an offsite image, you shouldnt be using that anyways.

You should be using bbcode url to link to off site images.

NEVER enable html via the forum manager on your site, to easy to inject malicious code.

1. AdminCP --> vBulletin Options --> BB Code Settings

2. Verify that your usergroup can use bbcode.

3. Verify thru your forum manager for the specific forums that these are on.
Allow HTML No
Allow BB Code Yes
Allow [IMG] Code Yes

Thanks for your reply.

What I have been doing, is at times when I make a post, as the admin, I will upload a photo.

I have been doing this since last August, and just recently, I am not able to do it anymore.

When I press the upload button, it appears that all is well, then an area in the upload window turns red.

You would need to provide a screen shot.

If you changed nothing in the settings, then this is now a server issue.

I'm on shared hosting for now, although, my host has had to repair the server three times during the last two months.

Another problem that I had, was that, in time, one could not use the quick reply option. The entire area where you would place the text was colored grey. So, I turned it off.

Pardon my ignorance, but what do you tell the host, that you application no longer works properly due to server problems.

Colored grey? My guess there without looking at the site is a style issue.

I should have been more specific, when the box is grey you cannot post in the area. You can though, go to advanced.

This problem just started about three weeks ago, my board has been up since August.

Yes, im aware of the specifics of the quick reply, but again, its a stlying issue or a hack/addon issue.

Your welcome.

You should post your findings so others know what may be a issue.

Put it on my list for things to do this evening.
