"sorry there are no new threads to view" Help

Is there a way to disable this message ?
I would prefer my users to never have to see this is message, If there are in fact no new threads I would prefer that the most recent threads be displayed.
Do you think that this would be possible?

You could find the url and change it. Instead of "do=getnew" use "do=getdaily&days=X" where X (in days) is big enough so that there would normally be some results.
