Is it dangerous to leave it installed?

If you clicked Installed on the mod, then you should have gotten a notice telling you it was quarantined and that continuing to run it on your site could be a risk.

It apparently had security issues. Or it did at one point, but I don't see a thread for it in the quarantine area so I don't know what happened. Anyway, the only way it would be reapproved is if the author decided to have it restored (and fixed any issues, if it was in fact quarantined for that reason) . I'd guess after 3 years it's probably not going to happen.

The Gameroom had security issues :(
Here at vb there are many great mods that the coders have clearly abandoned personally I think the rules should be changed the code should be re-usable after a certain amount of time the coder not being active.

Thats fate.. for existing vbulletin forum owners/users apparently..
As an existing vbulletin product user when I started 10+ years ago (I was an entrepreneur a newbie) I was not concerned which developer left and for what reasons.. until I got support from alternative developers or from vb.org site managers.
I am a vbulletin product owner who installed the modification as it was available on vb.org which made my site successful or being 1 of important reasons for same.
But now.. goes a long story when developer left/abondoned/quit/removed/ etc. (debates, which again as forum owner I am not interested in reading)
I am sorry, but not to criticize all developers/coders in this community (as majority of coders have helped us under MOST CRITICAL SITUATIONS, without being paid just by there BESTEST knowledge in VB).
Vbulletin developed a great platform but still failing to develop right way coders/users/community meet together..unite..
And today those GREAT MINDS are nowhere OR Do not show themselves OR Do not trust newbies OR ......

The code belong to coder for life and for life of children and grandchildren unless if otherwise is stated.
If the coder has marker the code as non-reusable nobody has the legal right to change it.

So, you honestly think coders would continue to provide you with FREE addons if there was a rule that they would be dispossessed of their work automatically?
You really need to understand that people let you use their work for free here. And you have no claim whatsoever on said work. If you can't accept that, don't use it, and pay someone to code your custom stuff for you.
Sometimes the presumptuousness of some people here really makes me want to run away screaming.
