hi. I was asked on my forums to add a new tab to the navbar....
I have already done this in the past .... our custom links appear as full tabs on the navbar but I can't remember how I then did that.
By researching in the admin panel, I found our link text in the language expressions....
for example, one of our tabs on the navbar is found as
vb_navigation_tab_tab_nzgx_857_text
Can any kind person out there help me remember how this was done ?

I don't understand the question. You are wondering how to add a new nav tab? You would do that in AdminCP > Settings > Navigation Manager

For tab scroll down to the bottom of page -->press Add Tab button

I did this and the newly added tab doesn't show up. I've tried changing the link, adding linkes underneath, and everything else I can imagine.
Any ideas?

Create a new style with no parent:
Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
Parent Style: No Parent Style
Title: Default vBulletin
Allow User Selection: Yes
Save
Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

Actually I'm glad you replied, I was just fighting a related issue.
I reverted the Navbar template thinking that I might have had something wrong in there...and sure enough that was the problem. As a result I then added all of my menus in via the Navigation Manager and then came up with a new problem:
My home tab, which takes me to a vbAdvanced CMPS page, now is apparently not activating the Home tab correctly and multiple menus are showing on top of each other and the "Home" and "Forum" tabs are both showing active at the same time.
Thanks!

Nevermind that....I am an idiot sometimes.
I had to revert the CMPS template, too.
