Hello,

I just got a professional upgrade to vbulletin 4.2.0 but now I find that my admin notifications are no longer working.

For example when I get a new user I no longer receive an email notification, when someone posts a new thread I get no notification etc.

I have used the Email Diagnostics tool and it works fine, I have contacted my hoster and they said there are no issues there end, and my email account is working fine (Gmail)

Does anyone have any ideas what the issue might be...............I'm baffled!

In the adminCP under Settings > Options > Email Options, if you have Use Mailqueue System set to yes and Use Cron Based Sending set to yes, then you may need to increase the value of "Number of Emails to Send Per Batch". Another option is to set "Use Cron Based Sending" to no and it should go back to the way it was working before.
