Limited number of replies to a thread

Is there any built in function in vBulletin, or modification already out there that can limit the number of times a user can reply to a thread? For instance, what if I wanted to limit users to replying to a thread once, but if they were quoted or if the thread expanded enough they could reply again?

There is no such built in function in vb. You will need a custom mod for that.
