font color problem

I am having a problem identifying the way to change a font or background on a particular page.

On our "reset password" page the text must be white on a white background:

Can anyone offer advice how to correct this? This seems very basic, but I haven't been able to resolve it.

In additional css add following:

.formcontrols .blockrow {
background: none repeat-x scroll center bottom #FFFFFF;
border-top: 1px solid #CEDFEB;
color: #000000;
padding: 10px 5px;
}

Having a similar problem on the registration error page.

This section:
The following errors occurred during your registration
The email address you entered is already in use. If you have forgotten your password, please click here.

However, "The email address you entered is already in use. If you have forgotten your password, please click here." is white text on a white background.

Not sure how many other places this occurs. Perhaps I have an incorrect font or background color in the style set? Or is there another additional css adjustment?
