Archive as sitemap

I have tried the hack to get my 3.8 forum to use the Archive as a sitemap.

However, it doesn't work! When you click the archive thread link, it redirects to the correct thread (showing the full detail, rather than just archive view). However, the url shows hrml at the end.

e.g. http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/thread14470.html

But it should be showing showthread.php?t=xyz etc.

Any idea why? How could I change the code to make it so?

Found the solutions: Vbulletin options>search engine friendly archive>Display Simple View of Threads=No
