Excellent! Is it possible to have a PM (as admin) when sending a PM containing some particular words?

Not with this mod i guess. This is completely isolated and stand-alone and does not use plugins/hooks at all.

Haven't seen that one before. I fixed some things up that he fixed up as well and added the conversation mode. If you want to pay money you are better with that one i think ;)
Also, my version here is free, not "lite" has some less features, and is just in plain English.

Does it work on 4.1.10 ?

Does it work on 4.1.10 ?
should work, as this is only a modified version of a 3.5 mod. Haven't tested though.
Also, since this mod makes no changes to your database, plugin system or anything: just upload and test. If it does not work, simply delete the files again :)

It works perfect, although i use the paid pm management... this is a great free modification with no plugins or hooks...

I've always had an issue with admins and mods reading PM's between two other people. There's a reason it's called 'private message'
I always respect coders and their works, but if I can't respect my posters, then I honestly shouldn't be running a forum. Just my opinion.

I agree with that partly. However, this is a tool that can be used to track down sharing of things that shouldn't have been shared or alike. It should not be a day-to-day usage tool in any way. *improving first post*

I remember that that mod was working well even on vbulletin 4..
I guess some will find this useful but If I can't trust my members then I should have never opened my site in my opinion.

Yes, all i did was fix it up a little and upload the zip with the fixes as new addon. The main work was done by Dream on the original mod: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=91369

we have ~40k members, registration is open to anyone. You cannot trust everyone sadly :(
As i said before, we used that tool on our site to track down users that violated our TOS. I can only hope that the forum admins that are installing this are treating their users privacy with respect.

How i can fix Message title Unicode fonts ?
change the "encoding=utf-8" instead of "encoding=ISO-8859-1" in xml file. reload the xml file again through admincp hopefully it would start supporting unicode as well
Note:- Never ever forget to take backup of your complete website first or try to make changes in offline server for testing.

I guess you are not using vBulletin 4.2. I added a check for that in the .zip. Please re-download :)

Negative - I am running 4.2
Same issue persists. I have hundreds of PMs and attempting to read my own in conversation mode. This issue only happens when I scroll down. At first, the conversations show.

i disagree here. sharing of what? if they're sharing in private..they could easily do so via email or anywhere else. if there is a security risk...ban them...simple as that. this type of mod should not exist. if you have it installed...you should put a disclaimer in the news/announcements section letting every member know you have it installed.
whats the next mod? seeing members passwords? now you can log into all their other forums and facebooks, and whatnot.
like someone said above...i respect the coders...but this mod is bad news. and all other pm monitor mods alike. There is no logical reason to have this mod installed on your forum.

you are right, i think its too dangerous to give admins such a tool. I do not want to be responsible to break other users privacy.
I removed the mod, please use the other thing i linked in the post.

I was thinking same way before, now I think that in some cases this is necessary. You are admin, you have right to check people who exploit your site/forum and take your members to other place...you pay server, you spend time, you...
So all in all you have right to do so, its like you are president of some country [maybe not great example :D], if you have rotten apples you have right to know everything about them in order to deal with them.
This mod should not be changed like this, what if I had some issues, lets say uninstall one...cause of your mod I will have to contact support or ... why simply you just dont leave it with title and everything so that we have some place to exchange opinions and help to each others if you dont have time or whatever
I just cant believe that moderators/administrators on site such as vb.org allow these things to happend, remove your mod but leave thread as it was, OMG

I dunno man....
I had a user on my forum get pissed and make his own forum. One of his buddies was emailing everyone on my forum, especially the most active members, and encouraging them to join there instead. Their forum still exists to this day, and it is loaded with FORMER members of my forum.
It sucked royally, and it took me ages to find out that this was going on behind my back for MONTHS before I found out. When I finally caught the jerk who was contacting my members, he didn't even see why what he did was wrong (still doesn't).
My board went into a tailspin. Moderators resigned because they said my board would die without all those key members. The rats deserted me in droves.
Luckily one or two loyalists took over and we built things up again. Some of the rats rejoined, and I let them, and the board is flourishing because of things we did to keep it from dying. The guys who started this were permanently banned.
My point is- it's YOUR board, a privately owned board. Anyone posting anything does so at their own risk knowing that it is YOUR property. If there is criminal activity, YOU will be held responsible! Phones can be tapped- they belong to the phone company and there is NO privacy. How is a site any different?
Admins have an absolute right if not a responsibility to keep track of activities on their board. A mod which helps them do this is useful.
