Basically on they're preview page it shows on home page 'example widgets', how many columns are they're using? I would like to have my 'home' exactly the same, but i'm a little confused at how to do it. Hope I made sense, thanks for the reply.

Oh right ok. I'm as we speak trying to sort mine out and its not the easiest thing I've ever had to muck about with, but I think that the example you mentioned is a '1 Column + 240px sidebar' layout in grid manager in the cms control panel and the various widgets have been moved around (dragged and dropped) in 'layout manager'

in grid manager you can select flatten grid in the dropdown menu on the right, then you will be working directly in html. Mayby that will help to create the frid you want.
Also have a look at this: (Scalemotorcars.com) Custom 10 Field CMS Grid Layout (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=268825&highlight=grid).

No problem.
I've been trying to create a custom grid myself, but no luck so far. :(
