What is it exactly that you want to do?
Do you want to add tabs and menu's to the existing navbar or create a second navbar?

Are you trying to do something that can't be done with the navigation manger? If you go there and click on "Forum" for instance, you can see how the forum navbar dropdowns are created.

Well, for instance if you wanted to add an additional drop down menu under the "Forum" tab, you could go to the Navigation Manager (under Settings on the right in the adminCP), and in the drop down to the right of "Forum", select "Add Menu". After saving that, the manager will expand the other things under "Forum" (or you can expand it yourself any time by clicking on the name "Forum"), and you can proceed to add choices to your new menu by choosing "Add Link" in the drop down to the right of your new menu.

What I was saying above is that if you just go to the Navigation Manager and click on the "Forum" link you'll see the menus and links that are defined by default.

You say Example 2 doesn't show up - do you mean the menu or the link inside it? Are you sure you selected yes for the "Active" radio button for both of them?

what n/a ?

The N/A just means that the "Default" column doesn't apply to menus.

I don't know why you're not seeing it. Are you sure you selected Yes next to active:

(and leave the "show permission name" blank, not like the picture).

Yeah I set mine up with a menu and sublinks, and nothing. It does not seem to work for me?? My site is www.ohmcheck.com. I added a bunch of sublinks in a menu under the "videos" tab. The problem is, the sub menu will not show.

I'm seeing some links under Videos, are there supposed to be more?
