Just asking advice from more board owners, how do you think it is best to go about removing a Moderator.

Obviously, remove permissions before informing said Moderator, but is it possible to remove a Moderator that isn't doing what you expect (acting as a normal member and not Moderating) and still be able to keep that person an active and helpful part of the community?

Resentment is always put into play when removing someone of power, so curious as to the best way to undergo this.

Thanks!

On OzChess we elect our moderators at 6 month intervals. Sometimes an incumbent loses, but its easier to swallow being removed that way instead of being fired.

Point out his roll as a mod and tell him if he does not start following them then his mod gets removed

Tell him you have copies of pictures taken during last year's holiday office party and you'll show them to his wife if he doesn't leave quietly. :D
