Hi Guys,

A while back when I was on the 3.6 platform, I mucked around with the settings so that on the homepage, whenever someone made a post in a thread, in the Last Post column the date would show not with the date, but instead the word Today. I did the same for Yesterday. Its awesome, and works great for my homepage. Post made more than 48 hours ago show up with the date.

Anyway, whenever some one clicks a forum to see the threads in it, they get this error (please see attachment, circled in red). Is there a way to get rid of this without undoing it on the homepage?

I looked at your site and didn't see that problem - did you fix it?

Nope.

After you said this I though maybe the error is browser specific? I use Chrome, but when viewing the forum threads using Firefox the error was gone.

I guess that means its not vBulletin's fault and there is nothing that can be done?

How do you make it so your forums shows posts from the last week? Would love to know. :)

I think it just means nobody posted in the forum for a week. Our's is a rather small forum.

I don't see it in Chrome either - are you using the latest version. Does it make any difference if you're logged out?

I think I know what happened. We use a special chess modification called pgn4web. It somehow became infected with a virus. I think the virus was causing the issue.

Today I deleted pgn4web from the root directory and replaced it with a brand new pgn4web file (not infected with a virus). As a consequence, the forum display is now working perfectly and the error I mentioned above is gone :)

Thanks everyone for trying to help me sort this issue. Your help was appreciated.
