I think your site looks good. Although I personally think it is too dark. Perhaps such is common in your Genre. I would still try to add a little daylight somewhere.

It is dark too, but it doesn't look too dark. I think that glow near the login area helps a lot.

What are you using to create the threadstatus avatars?
