Something in my current RedTyger ad management mod has broken and no longer works with Downloads II. :( I am looking for a replacement and I'll happily offer a $20 finders fee to anyone who helps me identify a functional, easy to use mod that simply allows me to add a string to a template (ex: $vbam_navbar[ad1]) and then using a control panel interface, compose my ad or message in html. When I want to update my ad or message, I simply go to the ACP, open the interface for the ad, change the text and save; and it populates through the forum anywhere I have the string. I would want to be able to run several strings. It would work across all styles.
It would work much like the announcements function. You have an interface, and the text is populated to the specified place.
Anyone have any recommendations? Reward goes to the individual whose suggestion I end up using. I have searched but I think it would be helpful to get some advice. thanks!
