View Full Version : How many Posts or Mods to get "Coder/Designer" Title?

I was wondering, how many posts or modifications does it take get the Coder/Designer Title!
I am a totally new beginner, but I already have so far made and posted 8 Mods, and 47 Posts! Hope I am close to it ...

Well i think you choose the wrong forum however i think is a mod or an admin that when he see your mods decide to make you coder, it will happen just wait for it

It's based on many many things like posts, mods. articles...etc time registered, like Lynne said it's even been asked in this particular forum just a couple of weeks ago - use the search function ;)

I have a good news, I finally GOT my ranks... When I made this post I was only a Contributer, as my rank showed.

I made my first TEPLATE / MODFICATION 31-Jul-2012, And the date of 24th-Aug-2012 I made my first XML PRODUCT, so In 1 Month time I made between 11 Template Modification + 4 XML Products as Addons, and not only for vB3.x but also for vB.4.x. So its way more than 25 Modifications and Addons in 1 Month. And finally I got the Designer / Coder Rank,, (Very proud of myself lol) Jokes to the side, but I have really worked hard the last couple of weeks! And I think the great thing about vBulletin.org is that you just cant stop helping people and gathering new ideas.. So far I do not feel tired or havnt lost my will..

And all this with the help of the members of vBulletin.org and all the mods and admins who been so kind to help me, even If I posted my mods or addons wrong. They always were good and never negative. Last but not least, finally with the help of these great coders Scanu, LancerForHireLCC & KH99, I got where I am today! I will always be thankfull to these persons..

And thanks for everyone who have helped me along the way, and I really mean it. THANKS A LOT
