Greetings,

I am new here and in need of a lot of help. My trade is a machinist, so this end of the spectrum is far from my comfort zone.

We recently launched our forum and I need to figure out a few things.

1. VB has sent emails saying the patches were out and we need to get back up to speed. How do I install this patch and back up my forum in case I crash it?

2. My forum does not show up on a search engine using common words. How do we get people who search for Cincinnati Subaru Forums to our site, www.cincyscoobs.com ?

This is where I am stuck at the moment. I appreciate all the help I can get on this! Thanks a bunch.

I have backed up the system now that I have figured out via the links how to back it up. Thanks again and I am sure I will have more questions.

You need to do a bit of seo, get backlinks to your site using the words you would like your site to rank for.

Also add a bit more keyword density to the site. Btw your "quick links" drop down menu is broken for me in firefox 15.
