So because we had so many messed up plugins installed we couldn't just restore the old database we had to use the impex tool to import the old database. When doing this we got screwed because all of the thread IDs changed.

So we essentially have 25k+ Indexed pages that are 404 ing or just going to an entirely different thread. Google will not -reindex the new thread id threads because its thinking its duplicate content.

Is there absolutely anything we can do to get old thread ids back.

Oh yea forgot to mention because we had the forums open, new threads have been created. So if we try to restore the old database to get the old thread ids back to where they belong we will essentially end up with duplicate thread IDs at some point.

Please Help!If possible.

Wait... Why did you have to use impex, that should never be an option.
Pugins can be removed

Sorry to say but you made google hate you..

Restore the database.

What's worse? Losing the rankings for 25k threads, or losing the later info?

Up to you.

You could even backup first then cherrypick the new stuff out, then import that manually somehow.
