View Full Version : Private Messages Enhancements - Delete PM Upon Sending

Description:
Little modification that allows Users to delete a PM after it has been sent. The option is located below Quick Reply. In addition to this, usergroups are able to be excluded from the functionality of this modification. As requested by Nirjonadda.

Instructions for Use:

Simply download the .xml file that is attached.
Upload using Product Manager.
The setting is located at AdminCP -> Options -> Private Messaging Options.Changelog:
Version 1.2 - 15/07/12
- Fixed bug where option doesn't appear in 'newpm'.
- Updated template to include a description.
- Fixed a bug which would cause duplicate options.
- Added another screenshot.

Version 1.0 - 15/07/12
- Initial release.

The modification was intended and designed to work on the 4.2 series. Can you elaborate on your issue though. Are you seeing an error of any kind?

Added that in to the .xml. Must've slipped my mind, nice work there buddy.

Looking at this mod, it looks like it just deletes the PM from your Sent folder if you have it setup to save a copy there when you send a PM. Is that correct?

I'm actually looking for something that will delete a PM that I received after I reply to it. As teh admin of several sites, I get a lot of questions and I'd love to be able to answer and delete those PMs at the same time. Could this work for that as well?
