This mod enables you to launch a peer-to-peer community marketplace that is integrated into your vBulletin forum.
Here is how it works:
1) Install the plugin.
2) Customize the categories you want in your marketplace.
3) Contact Chad at Panjo (http://www.panjo.com/about#team): chad@panjo.com to activate your marketplace.
4) When a seller goes to a new or old subforum dedicated to buying/selling/trading, and clicks on the "post new thread" button, the mod will load a listing creation form.
5) The seller will create a listing. The listing will appear in the marketplace. A synchronized copy of the listing will appear in the appropriate buy/sell/trade subforum.
Is this plugin free?
Yes, this plugin is free.

Seems like a cool mod.
But I would also like to now what the 3 XML files are for.
There is no explanation about those.

I would like to know what the 3 XML files are for.
Black Tiger - Thanks for the question. Good question. There is more information about the three files in the Enthusify vBulletin classifieds installation instructions (https://docs.google.com/a/enthusify.com/presentation/d/1Iv4GCacjOWHERdAvYuOrdNeDPnuspp4iXVFFcvwcZDA/present#slide=id.g629609f_2_0).
In summary...
1. The main file is Enthusify's Product XML file used to add the templates, settings and options used by the marketplace plug-in
2. One file is another product XML file that the marketplace plug-in depends upon in order to add the navigation to the main forum navigation menu. This file is required for vB 4.1.x and earlier as vB 4.2 has Navigation Manager.
3. The last file is used for backwards compatibility with vBulletin v3.x.x and is not necessary for vBulleting v4.x.x installations (as outlined in the installation instructions)

Ik heb vBulletein 3.8.7 so then I have to use all the files.
Sorry for the question. I'd seen the instructions, but thought it was a kind of movie and had not seen that there were more pages you can choose from.
However, I'm doubting if I'm really going to install it now I read this:

We Retain a 10% Performance Fee -
Each time you sell an item to a buyer, Enthusify retains a 10% performance fee. Enthusify retains 10% of the sum of the listing price and the shipping price.

Oke sorry, then this is nothing for my forums.
I only have a forum for mainly Dutch and Belgian users and our "for sale" part of the forum is just for local users who needs to sell their satellite receiver or some other small stuff.
In that case we keep it at our current sale forums with prefixes.
Thank you for the information.

The raw listing data and the photos associated with the listings are stored in Enthusify's hosting environment. Enthusify is a payment card industry data security standard (PCI-DSS) compliant system. The system meets all the strict security requirements required to process credit card transactions. Enthusify hosts with Amazon Web Services (http://aws.amazon.com/).

FYI... Enthusify retains a 10% Performance Fee
This first release of the software retains a flat 10% of the sale price of an item if the buyer and seller use the built-in payment processing. Enthusify splits that fee with the forum owner. For example, if a buyer buys an item for $100 USD, the seller will receive $90. The forum owner will receive $5.
We are currently working with our beta partners to design a more flexible fee structure. Elements of the forthcoming release include...
A tiered fee structure than decreases as the selling price increases.
The ability to customize fees for each usergroup.
The ability to choose what you charge above Enthusify's minimum fees.
Enthusify's minimum fees go toward covering credit card interchange fees, security, customer service, and continued software development.
The current flat fee is 9%-37% less than what a seller would incur trying to sell on eBay+PayPal. The forthcoming tiered fee will yield even more savings for forum members.

Thanks for considering the plugin. At this time Enthusify natively supports the English language and the USD currency. Support is forthcoming for other languages and currencies.
We have some geographically focused partners who use the tool to beautify their listings. Sellers indicate their preferred payment or communication method. It is not required to run payment through the tool. It is merely a convenient option for some.

We have an upcoming release that will reduce the 14 day escrow. We plan to release a feature that will allow the buyer and seller to confirm the transaction is complete in order to trigger the release of funds. Interestingly, for some of our partners with more international audiences, 14 days is not enough.
While the payment processing system is embedded into the tool - nothing about the tool requires a buyer/seller to use it. A seller could indicate in his/her listing that PayPal payment or some other form of payment is preferred.
You are welcome to install the plugin and try it out. There is a way to install the plugin and test it without exposing it to your membership.

Bug identified.
We just pinpointed a bug for users of IE8 and IE9. Users in those browsers can not add photos to their listings. We are working on a fix.
New fee!
I am excited to announce that we reduced our fee to 3% per successful transaction for our beta partners. A forum owner can charge anything he/she wants on top of that.

Chad, it was great to great to meet you at ForumCon and I look forward to checking out the new demo and trying Enthusify out on my site. :)
For those of you that have large, nationwide forums, a product like Enthusify or Styckyd will revolutionize the moderation of your classifieds sections. I've met both founders of the respective systems and they're both well-versed with what our needs are as forum administrators and the markets we serve.

Interesting, I see the front end working on 3.8.7. Would there be a branding-free option?
At this time we do not have a branding-free option.
The search results page and the listing pages contain a 'badge' in the upper center space and a 'badge' in the lower left corner. There are some security reasons we do that. Most forums don't have a SSL (secure socket layer). In order to provide buyers and sellers with secure transaction pages, we use our SSL over the enthusify.com domain. The badges serve as a way for your member to know that they are on the same platform. The system also kicks out automated emails related to buying and selling. For example, when a seller's item sells, the system emails the seller to let them know about the successful sale. Those emails come from Enthusify's mail server. We thus want the member to recognize the email as valid and not spam.
Based on requests from our partners we do have an upcoming release that will introduce more co-branding opportunities. The emails and SSL pages already reference the parent forum by name.
We understand the desire for even more branding options - but the more design flexibility we provide the less reliable the software becomes as it becomes difficult to test across multiple versions of vBulletin running with multiple combinations of plugins running in multiple kinds of server environments. Hence some of the imposed uniformity.
Here is what the co-branding looks like:

Yes. For transactional pages that require SSL for security or PCI (payment card industry) compliance, the user is taken to a new page. The checkout page is an example of a transactional page that requires SSL (a secure socket layer).
You can check out the experience at any of our partner sites. Go here:

Thanks for your kind words about our marketplace mod.
For the sake of clarity, we have the same 'on page' experience as PayPal or Google. If you don't have a SSL cert, you can't offer 'on page' check out. In the same way you might offer a PayPal powered 'check out' button and that button takes you to a new secure page, we too offer a 'check out' button that takes you to a new cobranded page. Google, PayPal, and we HAVE to do that in order to encrypt the payment information. If you have an SSL cert - that is another story.

Awesome news. Enthusify shipped a bunch of frequently requested features today. We warmly welcome version 2.0.1 of the marketplace plugin for vBulletin.
New features include:
When an item sells, the plugin updates the thread version of the listing with a 'sold' status.
When a seller edits a listing, the plugin updates the thread version of the listing with the new information.
A buyer's email receipt from a purchase now includes the seller's email address.
There is now a point-and-click way to redirect the 'Post New Thread' button of any subforum to the plugin.
The plugin can now route a listing to a designated subform based on the category the seller assigned to the listing.
Significant 'under the hood' changes should eliminiate the need to update 'classifieds.php' in the future.
An option to reorder categories.
And more. Find more details in the changelog (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1g7bDP7Xg-hnqCrJiZiT2FGQ9-ZLRi0osUQffO7oDNmM/edit).

We will see what we can do. We desire to move as much functionality under the vBulletin umbrella as possible while keeping the system PCI (payment card industry) compliant. The issue is the triangulation between the vBulletin platform, SSL, and browsers.

Useful for leaving feedback and for the upcoming ?My Orders? page.
*) Fixed a bug where users wouldn?t see any results if they made a search that returned fewer result pages than the amount of pages they had already navigated.
*) Fixed a bug where edits to listings by mods reassigned the owner of the automatically generated thread.
*) Fixed a bug where purchases of offers did not reflect the offer price if the payment was not being processed by Enthusify.
*) Sellers can now collect payment with Enthusify and receive a buyer?s payment on the same day.
To do this, they need to authorize a valid credit card.
This is reflected in all the communication buyers and sellers receive surrounding a listing.
*) If a thread is generated for a new listing, the success page will now link to the newly created thread.

We are looking at this product as it looks very nice and you guys have been great with keeping it up to date.
Question regarding profits... I need a bit more clarification on how conmission is being collected here. Examples
If a members decides to place an item for sale and chooses to collecte via paypal only do you guys charge a fee for that transaction since paypal is already chargeing a fee?
If a member chooses to sell an item and only accepts CC like Visa and discover how does he get paid once the buyers pays with his CC and does that cost the seller 10% of the sale for you
Guys to process that payment for them? Out of the 10% we (the forum owner) gets 5% of that correct?
Just trying to figure out the overall expense because if the seller only accepts Visa and how much does this end up costing the seller, can you give a break down on the fees
Seller is selling an item for $100 and only accepts paypal ?
Seller is selling an item and only accepts major CC card?
How does the seller get paid?
What are the charges to process and sell the $100 item
When does the seller get paid?
What is the refund process and what protection does the buyer have?

To put the following answers in context I should note one thing first. At this time, the Enthusify plugin just has a "final value fee" revenue collection/generation feature. Listing fee and promotion fee features are coming soon. In fact if you visit one of our partners today, you are bound to see us testing those forthcoming features.
If a members decides to place an item for sale and chooses to collecte via paypal only do you guys charge a fee for that transaction since paypal is already chargeing a fee?
If a members decides to place an item for sale and chooses to collect a buyer's payment via PayPal, Enthusify does not charge the buyer or seller a fee for that transaction. The seller creates the listing for free. The buyer pays the listing price to the seller via PayPal. PayPal collects their fees.
If a member chooses to sell an item and only accepts CC like Visa and discover how does he get paid once the buyers pays with his CC and does that cost the seller 10% of the sale for you Guys to process that payment for them? Out of the 10% we (the forum owner) gets 5% of that correct?
If a member chooses to have Enthusify collect, verify, and transfer the buyer's payment to the seller, then the seller will incur Enthusify's 3% final value fee and whatever fee you the forum owner add to that. Let's say you want to collect 2% from every successful transaction, then, when a seller sells a $100 item, the seller will get $95, Enthusify will get $3 (most of which goes to credit card interchange fees, and the forum owner will get $2.
Enthusify transfers the seller's $95 to the seller via PayPal (fee free), check, or direct deposit.
Just trying to figure out the overall expense because if the seller only accepts Visa and how much does this end up costing the seller, can you give a break down on the fees.
Seller is selling an item for $100 and only accepts paypal?
Seller will get: $96.80
Seller is selling a $100 item and only accepts major CC card via Enthusify?
Seller will get: $97.00 (assuming the forum is NOT charging a surcharge)
How does the seller get paid?
If the seller wants Enthusify to collect and verify payment, Enthusify transfers the buyer's payment to the seller via PayPal (fee free), check, or direct deposit.
What are the charges to process and sell the $100 item
See above.
When does the seller get paid?
See above.
What is the refund process and what protection does the buyer have?
If a seller collects payment from a buyer via PayPal, Enthusify does not offer any dispute resolution service or protection.
If a seller collects payment from a buyer via Enthusify's payment processing service, then Enthusify offers dispute resolution and full refund protection for up to 14 days. A buyer can extend the 14 day protection period by notifying Enthusify that there is an issue. You can review our terms of service (see section 11) (http://enthusify.com/terms) to learn how we handle different kinds of disputes that may arise.

Bug fixes:
Fixed a conflict with the plugin ?The Image Resizer? that prevented the ?Buy Now? button in the thread post versions of the listings from connecting a buyer to the checkout page.
Fixed a bug where the ?list view? and ?grid view? buttons sometimes didn?t work
Fixed a bug that impacted the loading location of 'lightboxes' for rare browser/screen resolution situations.
Fixed a bug that asked some sellers to connect their PayPal account even if the seller was not using Enthusify to collect, verify, and transfer payment.
Fixed a rare rounding error in ?Item Has Sold? emails that sellers receive.
Fixed an issue that was blocking the thread post versions of seller's listings due to title limits, image upload limits, or character limits.
Fixed an issue that was placing the thread post versions of seller's listing in the moderation queue by the built-in vBulletin moderation filters. This fix does not necessarily address moderation filters from third-party plugins.
New features:
You can now subscribe to automatic updates for future releases of the Enthusify vBulletin plugin. Today, if Enthusify releases a feature with tight vBulletin integration, it often requires a vBulletin admin to update the plugin. With the auto update feature, you automatically get the latest version of the vBulletin plugin and always benefit from the latest features and bug fixes. With this enhancement, Enthusify can now deploy features you requested to more tightly integrate the marketplace into vBulletin without any administrative overhead on your part.
We added a toggle to the ?Enthusify Settings? to allow you to opt out of Automatic Updates.
We added a link in the ?Listing Details? to the corresponding thread for that item in the forum.
New users can now hit ?enter? to connect their account once they submit their email. Previously a user had to click the continue button with a mouse click.
We increased account registration security. We eliminated a feature that allowed a member of two forums on the Panjo network to connect his/her account without email verification. The lack of an email verification step could have resulted in a nefarious user finding a way to compromise a seller's listings.
The Postbit link option in the ?Enthusify Settings? has been significantly improved.
The "Items for sale" link in a member's postbit template only displays if a member has an item listed for sale in the marketplace.
Existing sellers will need to cancel, mark as sold, sell an item, or list something new for sale in order for their link to activate.
Please keep your input coming. We love delivering the features you request.

Guys sincerly reading your installation guide, i don't know what to think...
Why you ask to disable the vbulletin protections???
And why the plugin doesn't work of default in https??????????????????????
These are your instructions to install the plugin:
Disable The Apache Module Mod_Security
Symptom:
You are getting a message when creating or managing your Panjo marketplace that says:
There was a problem getting your forum info.
What is causing this?
There are a few potential causes of the above problem, but in 95% of cases, it is because you are running an apache module called “Mod_security” which is known to cause problems with vBulletin. (For this reason, Internet Brands, the developers of vBulletin, have even created a diagnostic tool to detect the more serious issues caused by this module.)
What is this module for?
The short answer is that it exists as a backup for insecure code on your site. vBulletin is secure by default. An example for potentially insecure code would be custom code written by inexperienced vB developers.
Here is a link with a more thorough answer:
http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/modsecurity/what-is-modsecurity-and-why-is-it-important
How do I disable this module?
In most cases, the module has been enabled by your vbulletin hosting company and can only be disabled by them. You will need to contact them to get this resolved.
In some cases, you may be able to disable it with cPanel. Here is a link that can walk you through that if that option is available: http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/error-numbers/406-error
Alternatively, you may be able to disable it by modifying your .htcaccess file. Here is a link that can help you with that. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/12928360/how-to-disable-mod-security-in-htaccess-file
However, we strongly recommend that you contact your host, since the cPanel and .htcaccess solutions have not worked for sites where the module was enabled by the host.
How will my forum be affected if I disable it?
It protects against a certain type of vulnerability if the developer writing the code on your server (vB devs or plugin coders) don't know how to make it safe. It has the unfortunate side effect generating false positives and blocking some secure scripts. If it's gone it will stop doing both of these things. This generally only matters to you if you're running insecure, custom code.
Other Recommendations
1. Make sure your site-clock is accurate.
Time-zone does not matter, but if we make a request at 5:09pm PST and your site says its currently 5:45pm PST, the request will fail.
2. Make sure the plugin is accessible to logged-out users.
The plugin is located at your forum root. (Example: http://www.yoursite.com/classifieds.php)
The reason for this is that our servers will be treated like logged-out users and can’t communicate with the plugin if a login is required for that page.
3. Make sure that cURL is enabled.
4. The plugin will not work if https is enabled site-wide.
The Panjo plugin operates in an iframe and needs to have a certificate FTP’d into your site for HTTPS to work on it. Unfortunately, certificates have to be renewed regularly, which makes it unfeasible for us to implement at this time.
I'm a little bit confused...

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to let you guys know that we pushed out a bunch of great improvements to the Panjo vBulletin classifieds mod (http://www.panjo.com/partners). These improvements DO NOT require updating the plugin. Here are some highlights:
- pressing "Back" in the marketplace will not result in users having to reset their sort & filter settings.
- we fixed an issue where certain pages were resizing incorrectly
- some users reported problems on the receipt page after making a purchase. Those issues have been fixed.
- there is a typo on some listings that use calculated shipping that would read "TDB" instead of "TBD." New listings will now show "TBD" correctly.
You can read about all of our new updates in this blog post (http://panjo-marketplace.blogspot.com/2015/03/released-panjocom-improvements-to.html).
