Add some styled blocks for your CMS!

These are to be used with "Static HTML" widgets... you can put everything you want in these, and they will always look good.

This is a major miss in the actual CMS, as we were unable to choose the style of our blocks... now we can!

This is a "product", not template edit... it's more a lead on what you can do with templates than a feature, but as you simply have to import the file to have these 8 new templates, why not... i may add more in the future!

You can see a "production" example of the whole bundle here: http://nexialys.net/vb4/content.php?116-nexia-s-additional-cms-blocks

as these are templates, you can edit them yourself for each style you have...

Installed and love the idea. Might be a good idea to include a doc with a picture of how each template looks and the template name so that you can copy and past the template name.

As at the moment I am having to refer to your image here, and retype the template name whuich means having to look back n forth a few times. Or search for it in the templates to get the name.

Just my opinion.

Love it though.

I don't suppose you have a forum blocks version? :D

i didn't plan on making the whole suite of widgets, but this can be done quickly when you edit each template related to the blocks you use...

... and yes, i forgot the docs... will do it!

So you can use the same templates for the forum blocks? Sorry I'm just checking as I didn't think widget stuffed worked on the forum blocks and vice versa.

it is something i'm actually checking, and ... no... the "latest threads" and "latest posts" are way too complicated to trick on these templates. having just a different variable to include in the page, like for the calendarbit or the statichtml content is easy, but a complete template, no... but you can edit the template itself to modify its wrapper, which would do the same.

I wanted to ask if can we use our own custom styles for the block rather than yours?

I'm marking this as install for now.

these are just templates, Sage... you can do whatever you want with them... they are skeletons, so if you have different colors etc for your style/theme, they will show accordingly. and you can also modify the ones in this release with no problem, no need to ask... :)

I'm trying to use these blocks in my CMS sidebar, but none of them appear. Do they parse properly in vBulletin 4.2 for anyone else?
