Forum.php only works

Guys & Gals..
Quick question,

My site now only works if you type in the address plus "/forum.php"
it no longer goes to home page by typing main address..www.mysite.com

I do know my IT dept. just updated apache & php...
What can I do to fix?

What does happen if you only type in the main address?

Nothing at all...no redirect, no error. just sits there like no index or something

Check if the index.php is the one that came with your version of vbulletin. It should pretty much just include forum.php, so I'm thinking maybe it got overwritten with a blank one. Or I suppose the server could be configured to not use index.php.

Edit: ...or maybe there's an index.html that's being used instead?
