Description:
This hack will stop your users from posting new blog posts until they reach a certain post count in your forums. This is a good way to prevent spambots from registering and posting mindless junk in your blogs and saves your moderators/administrators from cleaning up afterwards. Pretty much everything in this modification is configurable. Choose whether the modification is active, how many posts are needed, which groups are affected and even set a custom error message.
Installation:
Simply download the product xml from below and import it using the Product Manager in your Admin CP.
Adjust settings by going to Admin CP -> vBulletin Settings -> Minimum Post Count Required To Post Blog Entries
Changelog:
24/06/2012 - Version 1.00:
- Initial release.
Notes:
I'm always looking to improve my work for the people that enjoy using it. If you have any suggestions on how I can improve this hack then please leave a comment and I'll see what I'm able to do. Don't forget to 'Mark As Installed' if you've got it installed!
