Whenever I choose the 'check for updates' option, I get an error:
Version check connection to host www.vbulletin.org failed. Please try again later.
The error returned was: 'Connection timed out'
Why?

On the 'Controls' drop down in the Manage Products menu.
It works for those that do not use the vbulletin.org product check URL.

Oh, you mean the Check Version option? That is working fine for me (for the ones that actually have it set up). You may have just run it at a time the server was busy.

Even though I can get on vbulletin.org at the same time? And it has been happening all the time.
Maybe a server firewall is the cause. I will ask my host,
