I have been using VB software for a LONG TIME and it seems that the new 4.x.x software just does not allow for neat cool styles. 3.x.x had a TON of cool styles with detailed looks, very diff design from one designer to the next. With 4.x there just is nothing real exciting out there.
Is the 4.x stuff harder to make stuff for? Seems to me that it has been out long enough to have allowed for folks to make cool stuff.
When I was with the 3.x stuff I had like 12 diff cool styles. Right now I am running with 4 and they aint all that.

That is relative. I have seen some nice styles for vb 4x. Here is an idea btw, why do not you learn how to create styles and make your own cool stuff if you do not like what you see in the styles section. With the built in Styles Generator creation of styles has become very easy.

I have no talent to make stuff myself. Just saying that there was a ton of cool styles in 3x. Those same folks have to be out there to be doing the same thing now it they wanted. Either they are not or the 4x version now makes it harder.
Seems most of the new stuff has diff colors and the like but the diff imaging, buttons, etc in 4x are now as creative.

I have seen some awesome styles for vB4. However, many of them look very different from the default and my guess is they were either paid styles or custom.
