Allow Edit user but not Delete user?

I have a question and I think it's a hard one.

We have a medium sized forum and a number of moderators and admins.

We would like to know if it is possible to give admins access to the AdminCP and let them manage Members, but not let them Delete Members.

Is that possible?

I think you'd need a modification to do this, as I don't remember anything that allows managing users, but not deleting them.

Manage Members in what way? In the modcp, they are able to change signatures, avatars, profile pictures and sig pictures. What else do you need them to be able to do?

Yes, with the built-in settings, the only option available is the general-purpose "Manage Users".

Basically, we have a handful of admins, most of which we see face to face so security isn't too much of a concern. But we were wanting to provide a bit of a safety net to some to help prevent them accidentally deleting members.

I haven't found anything like this though...

I suppose you could edit the code directly and just get rid of the delete option.
