Yesterday I purchased Bluepearl Seamus skin, and yes I have asked on that forum, but have not received a reply.
When I go to Styles & Templates -> Import Style I'm receiving this error code from vB.
XML Error: Not well-formed (invalid token) at Line 1
What I've done so far:
Cleared Auto-saved Table
Repaired and optimized Tables
Searched for Problematic Webserver Modules
Cleared System Cache
And still I have the same problem. Is anyone here familiar with this and know a way to correct whatever the problem may be?

Chances are the xml has a problem with the version check or one of those things at the top of the xml, but to be honest, if they've sold you something that isn't fit for the purpose it's up to them to fix it or give you your money back!

Thanks Simon,
At first I thought it might have been a bad XML file, so I downloaded it again on a different computer. I wanted to double check on here to see if the issue could be something different than the XML file, but I guess that is the problem. I didn't see any similar posts in there threads, so since vB 4.2 is pretty new it's possible that they haven't had many sales for it yet. I'm sure they will fix it, but if not, then I'll see about getting my money back on it!
Thanks again!

Check at the top of the xml for the vb version, it might say something like vbversion="4.1.x" if it does, change it to 4.2.x then try it :)

The XML file appears to be encrypted! I can't even copy and paste a little of it!
Basically:
NUL ENQ SYN BEL NUL STX NUL NUL
there are very few words throughout the thing that can be read, so my only option is to wait for the creator to fix it.

How are you opening it?

If opening it in wordpad doesn't show you the code then they've obfuscated it, you can use a tool like this http://coderstoolbox.net/string/ to uncover what they've done, you wont need to obfuscate it again :)

the string converter will not work. For some reason the word NUL is a black box with the words in white. I was going to try to attach it for you to look at. I use WinRAR. I'll have to download a trial copy of WinZip.

Okay, here is the XML file that came with the package. There is a different XML for each color but I tried 3 of them and none of them worked.
XML removed

Removed, thanks for that! They wouldn't have had the rest of the product, but like you said it is a paid for product!
