To disable Activity Stream completely do the following.

You need to make sure that your default tab is set to Articles in the vBulletin Navigation Manager.

Also please find in your index.php:

require('forum.php');

Change to:

require('content.php');

limits the display of the activity of certain groups.

if a user belongs to a select group, this user don't show the activity but he will execute the option set in the option.

I thought this mod might be the answer, but it doesn't allow you view the user profile at all. It just redirects you. All I want is for Activity Stream to be removed from user profile.

Uninstalled. Nice idea though!

The only way ive found to remove it completely from profiles is remove all script from "memberinfo_block_activity" template. It removed the tab and conent but unfortunately it also removes the content under 'About Me' & 'Blogs', still working on this.

You don't need any Mod for this, Just go to Settings - > Navigation Manager and then just set "No" for Active option

You don't need any Mod for this, Just go to Settings - > Navigation Manager and then just set "No" for Active option

but then the activity stream in the user profile would still be there so this mod is useful.

The key is to just remove the activity steam completely if you do not want it. You have to delete it from the template. This mod caused a lot of headache for me. I decided to go straight to the source of the problem.

However, you are correct in the fact that just setting "NO" to activity option does not work fully. That dang activity stream is everywhere! vB should have made an option to not have it viewable for people like me. I don't want the dang thing at all!

Kind of sucks!

Thank you my friend! I already uninstalled this mod because was causing some conflicts in my 4.2.0 forum, in the activity stream tabs on user profile.

For who have this installed, follow the instructions above, but you dont need to mark as inactive, you just need to make Forum as default. Thats all what you need.
