This seems so basic but I can't figure it out. Is there an easy way to add captions to images?

What do mean by a caption, and which images? If you want some text under an image, you could find the template with the code for that image and insert some html for a caption.

If you google "image captions" you can find many examples of html/css to format captions under (and even on top of) images.

What I'm looking to do is when I insert an attachment (typically an image), I would like to be able to add a short caption under it. Additionally, I am required to give credit to the photographer under the photo. And I can't figure out how to do this?

Additionally, it would be perfect if I could pre-define the credits in my manage attachments so that when I add a specific photo, the credit is automatically added with it. Is this possible at all?

Is it possible? Yes. With the default vbulletin software? No. You would need to custom code this.

If you want to hire someone to do this, I'd suggest posting in the Requests for Paid Services (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=30) forum. If you want to code it yourself and get stuck, post in the Programming forum with all your code and the errors/problems you are having and we can help you.
